Ann Arbor Film Festival Presents: Archipelago<\/a> | Ann Arbor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Where: <\/em>State Theatre, Ann Arbor<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When: November 3<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the first Thursday of each month, the Ann Arbor Film Festival is sharing films from their 60th annual festival. This month, it\u2019s Archipelago<\/em>, an animated film about invented islands. Directed by Felix Dufour-Laperri\u00e8re, Archipelago<\/em> is \u201ca feature film made of drawings and speeches that tells and dreams\u2026a little of our world and times.\u201d This French film will be playing at the State Theatre on November 3 at 7 p.m.! 35th Annual Ann Arbor Jewish Book Festival<\/a> | Ann Arbor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Extending from November 6\u201318, this multi-week festival celebrates culture and the arts \u2014 specifically, Jewish books and authors. All events are free and open to the public, and most authors will be presenting over Zoom, with six events held in person. Featuring an impressive lineup of products and crafts from more than 250 local makers, bakers and entrepreneurs, the Saline Craft Show<\/a> is the perfect place to shop local before the holidays. Organized through Saline Middle School, the youth groups involved get the opportunity to practice life skills and leadership, as well as earn money for their activities. So, swing by the school on November 12th to shop and support local! Admission is just $5 per person and free for kids 10 and under.<\/p>\n\n\n

Calling all bourbon lovers! Don\u2019t miss the Ypsi Bourbon Fest<\/a>, an indoor bourbon festival hosted at the Ypsilanti Freighthouse. The festival will feature more than 100 whiskeys, a VIP bottle section, and a cocktail station. While the focus is on bourbon, there will also be non-bourbon options, such as beer and wine, plus food trucks, live music, vendors and more! Proceeds from this event benefit the Friends of the River, a non-profit organization working to improve water quality, access, and awareness of the rivers of Michigan.<\/p>\n\n\n
